Lights and Lighting Matters

Lights and Lighting can make or break your elegantly decorated living room. In general, bright light is better for eyesights, and makes you more efficient, thus good for working. Dimmed light on the other hand, alows your eyes (and you) to relax more.
Lighting should be considered during the early stages of planning. When choosing lighting, you need to consider these: 1. Is it practical? Start with your house electrical circuitry by consulting an electrician to ensure that the lighting circuit is capable of powering the number and type of lights you want. Track and downlight systems use low-voltage light and need a transformer and a separate circuit. Do not overload the circuit. Circuits are usually overheated when using a bulb with too high a wattage.
2. The activities in your living room List down all of the activities that will take place in your living room. A flexible and imaginative approach to lighting will accomodate many different kind of activities.
